What setup gives you
A few minutes of setup creates a working assistant: an AI agent that already understands your calendar, your inbox, and the people you talk to most: reading your mail, drafting replies for your approval, and delivering your morning brief.
An Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff has its own channels: an email address and a phone number, separate from yours, and a Chief of Staff can use WhatsApp through Atona’s business number. It reaches out from its own identity, so the people you talk to know they're hearing from your assistant, not from you. A Personal Assistant works in your own inbox instead, drafting replies for you to approve.

How it works
Connect your email
Secure sign-in, takes about thirty seconds. Atona reads your inbox and calendar so it can act with context. Nothing is sent or replied to without your say-so.
Get its identity
An Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff gets its own address at assistant.atona.ai once your email is verified, separate from yours on purpose. Its own phone number for texts and calls comes the first time a task needs one, after you verify your mobile (US numbers for now). A Personal Assistant has no address or number of its own.
Teach the basics
Tell Atona a few standing preferences. "Always 30-minute meetings." "Don't reply to recruiters." "Never schedule after 4 PM on Fridays." These last forever.
Wake up to your first brief
The next morning, Atona delivers your first brief — inbox, calendar, weather, commute, and anything it handled overnight. Read it before you're out of bed.
What you control
Stop anytime
Cancel any plan, switch outreach to approval, or turn off sending from your inbox, whenever you like.
Review before sending
Replies from your own inbox wait for your approval by default. Switch outreach to approval too, for every plan or just one.
Errands wait for you
Every errand on its computer waits for your go-ahead, and purchases, deposits and card holds always do.
Sensitive mail stays out
Mail in your inbox from banks, tax offices, insurers, healthcare providers and law firms is recognised and skipped before the AI that reads and drafts sees it.
What Atona will not do
- Read mail in your inbox from banks, insurers, healthcare providers or law firms with AI. It is skipped first.
- Send from your own inbox without your approval, unless you choose to let routine replies go.
- Pay for anything without your approval at checkout.
- Share any of your data with another user. Ever.
Common questions
How long does setup take?
A few minutes, once you’re in. The slowest part is deciding which standing preferences to teach first.
Can I use my own phone number or WhatsApp?
No. An Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff gets its own number, on purpose, so the people you talk to know they're reaching your assistant, not you. WhatsApp goes through Atona’s business number. Your personal numbers stay personal.
Does Atona send from my Gmail?
Only replies you approve, by default. Outreach you ask an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff for goes out from its own address, with you copied. A Personal Assistant only ever drafts in your inbox for your approval.
What if Atona makes a mistake?
Every action is in your record with the reason it made that call, so you can see what happened and ask it to follow up with a correction. And you can switch outreach to approval any time you want a more conservative assistant.
Where does my data live?
In your own private, encrypted space. Never shared with other users. Never used to train an AI model.
